Has anyone down the Georgina Stock Route in Queensland lately, and what was it like please.

I would hazard a guess and say it is a bit wet at the moment :))

Hey David, Blue the Plumber who lives across the road took the photo last January just before it dumped 58 mm on the town.
As for the vegie garden - the plug has just been pulled.

Sure did - he is really good, especially when he just sings on his own with his guitar. First time I saw him was in Blackall years ago - at the opening of the new Cultural Centre - he is so talented it just blew me away.

You might of seen me there then. i was the good looking bloke with a pony tail and a beard.
A group of us came down from windorah and cleaned up on the foot races, i came second in the over 40s beer belly race, was beaten by a belly lol.
Was a good way to have a drought relief concert, 3inches of rain.
Had a slow and muddy trip home the next day. cheers
