Fuel available in Boomi

A top little town.

Some years back I went with my son to Boomi to do some upgrades to the phone system.
The pool was just being built and a chap was there on a big backhoe loader trying to clear up and area.
We were well ahead of schedule and I took our little excavator into the pool surounds and cleaned up the area they were working on.
It was the worst thing I could have done as that night the whole town was at the pub and we didnt pay for a drink all night.

They told me that the town was progressing that mobile phones would be there the following year in March and me being a smart arse said Ive got one here now that works and we went outside to our Coaster and I made a phone call to them from it and they were amazed.

I didnt tell them it was a HF Radio with Phone interconnect.

Needless to say there wasnt much work done next day I was a mess.

The town and its people are very friendly.
