Ok, we have just returned from Melb to Alice trip with 6 year old twins, and ancient millard van, but I don't want to be home over the long weekend. Everything is booked up. Any suggestions? Some beach would be nice seen as we have been in the dessert! We usually go to Bear Gully, but that may be full.

Thanks
Jazzah

Hiya Jazza

In a way its great to see Aussies still getting out in these so-called hard times (bankruptcies have doubled, job losses etc etc)...

My physio spends a lot of time @ Sandy Point..Not sure if its the same (busy) I myself would prefer a nice river or lake...

cheers

Where about in sany point? We have driven through before and swam, great for the kids there. Just not sure where to park the van!

Yes Mr Rudd's fiscal package has supplied us with a less expensive way to holiday! We never could afford the holiday packages anyway and were camping all the time, this makes it a bit more comfortable, even though it is an ancient van! (Managed to get van envy on the last trip!)

Cheers
