Well!!!!!!! left for Townsville this morning to catch the plane to work, only got as far as
Bowen and the road was closed at Merinda.
It didn't take me to long to high tail it back to Mackay and I can't get a plane in till Monday. Wouldn't that just #@*& ya.
Saw a 4wd ute being towed into
Bowen that had a lot of weed hanging off it, looked liike it had a big swim.

They said on the 3pm news that the Burce Hwy south between
Ayr and
Bowen was closed and North was open to high clerance 4wds and trucks.
