I have a gu patrol and would like to order an axle for the camper trailer. I thought i would just measure from the outside of the axle to the outside of the axle on the rear of the patrol, give that measurement and all is fine.
I was mistaken, the axle needs to be from end to end where the nut is. I hope you are following me. trailer place didnt seem that interested in helping me so will not be going back there.
does anyone know how much you add on for the extra or have the right size so the track is the same as the patrol?
cheers shane.

Shane, did you try SA Trailer & Chassis Equipment? We bought some axles from there for work last year and all we gave them was the flange to flange dimension. That is the mounting faces of the wheels.

Cheers

G'day shane,
The axles on my C/T are 5' 6'' (end to end)...

w/- std Nissan/'Cruiser (6-stud, parallel-bearing) hubs, the track width is within a cat's whisker of the Patrol..

Hope this is of some assistance:)

regards, Ed C
