Suspension

There is an unfortunate but realistic fact about purchasing a new 4WD - it won't come fitted with a suspension system designed to carry the kind of load you'll pack for a serious outback trip.

can anyone out here help us???????????? we have a 21 foot caravan with simplicity suspension under it. the suspension creaks and groans alot. isthere some way of stopping this.

Is it the one with the upside down leaves.

I have a Roadstar with it and it does it a bit when parking.
usually just the leaves moving across each other and rubbing together. Other than that the bushes may need attention.

Have been told years ago never lubricate leaf springs.

Doubtless some one on here will correct me.

Ive pulled a pan with a 3 tonne Simplicity for nearly 4 years now and havnt had a bush problem and other than on a few odd occasions had any strange noises but they were probably in my head anyway.

The dust bit sounds like a reasonable scenario.
