G'day wheaters, just under the eastern side of the motorway on the Maroochy river, the cod hole has the biggest fish you can catch in the river, hire a boat if you don't have one from swan boat hire next to it, it is good, rotsa ruck, aussiedingo

G'day again, in Mooloolaba, put your boat in in parkyn parade at the coast guard boat ramp & go out to the rock wall either side or in the bay, plenty brim n flathead, if your'e adventureous you can go out 10k to the blinker for the nobby snappers, you will need new epirb & gear, but plenty of big big fish, still xtra rotsa ruck, (this is my backyard) aussiedingo

Ripped off CLC50. Here are the rules

You are required to pay the NSW recreational fishing fee to fish in fresh and salt water in NSW unless you are:

Under the age of 18.

An adult assisting a person under the age of 18 to take a fish using a single rod or to take prawns using a single dip or scoop net.

You can find yabbie banks near the mouth of Eudlo Ck. This area can be good on high tide for whiting with said yabbies.
