Friend the International EO Members Trip through Russia is in the final stages of planning and preparation.
Please see Members Trips Gatherings for detail on the intended trip. There two member trucks at this stage. We have been active in receiving inoculations for rabies, hepatitis A+B, tetanus, cholera, polio and others. Some of us have had tutorials in Russian.
We have our final panning meeting as a group tomorrow and will soon be making our booking for flights to Seoul S Korea and the vehicles shipping container for the sea passage. We will collect our vehicles in Busan S Korea and then catch an ocean Roll on Roll off ferry to Vladivostok.
For those interested in the planning we have done in the past 12 months, there is a copy here:
Planning Guide
Looking forward to sending our trip notes as the journey unfolds. We intend extensive travel in Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, and on to Europe over 6-8 months.
Cheers for now.
Chris and Ann

Stephen,
Thanks for the good wishes. For a trip like this we seem to have been around the World before leaving
home. We have learned heaps and are looking forward to getting on the track.
Cheers

Chris and Ann, have a great trip. It will be something you will enjoy I am sure. Had been thinking of you in the last few weeks and realizing we hadn't seen you in a while.
Enjoy.

John,
We have a lot of thanks going to you, without your guidance about our MFI canopy we would still be back at square one wonding which corner to turn.
I said good bye to workmates at Christmas, am chewing through me annual leave until this coming Friday, then it is free fall from here on in, hope the SMSF out last us. It seems everyday is a Friday around here.
We have been busy over the past few months
clearing the decks in prep for the rest of the year.
Thanks again for your help and we look forward to catching up when we are in your corner, in the next year of so....

Very gracious of you Chris, I am sure if I hadn't made some suggestions, others could have done that. We will look forward to your mile posts along the way or at least hearing of them. Best wishes to you both for the trip.

Willem and Judith,
Thanks for the good wishes. You may recall Alastair and Bronwyn from our EO meeting at
Warraweena,
well they are still on the go and we are just about to make our flight and shipping container (for the trucks) bookings.
Looking forward to catching up next year. We are planning to log this EO Trip on the Blog, just need to do some homework and find out how it all works.
Cheers.
Ann and Chris
