where to go this weekend

hi everyone,
i have decided that stuff work this weekend im going bush!!!!!!
thing is not sure where to go????
would like somewhere within 2 hours of melb
on a river (with fish!!!!!)
i have a 4x4 but only a non off road poptop camper trailer
and i have 2 small kids
any ideas would be great!!!!!

Go to the Pyrenees, great camping at Glenpatrick reserve

There is an EO trip there on Monday if you want to tag along

I know its getting on towards the long weekend so many places within 2 hours will be fairly busy.

You could try Murrindindi Scenic Reserve between Yarra Glen and Yea.

Warburton Caravan Park or Upper Yarra Reserve.

I was going to mention the 90 mile beach however, the fishing carnival is on this weekend so it would be difficult to get into one of the many camping areas along the beach I would imagine.
