i will be getting my mates old bar, which doesn't support a winch. Just wondering if any one here has seen or done this mod for a 75 series toyota bull bar.
I have tried looking on the net for a stock item, with no luck ARB dont do it and TJM have a winch cradle but cant tell me if it fits a toyota bar, and toyota cant find anything stock on there system.

Cheers.........Steve

You will have to cut and shut the bar yourself. I had to do that with the 105 but I inserted a piece of 6mm c section into the middle of the bar to mount the winch, then reinforced the rest including doubling the thickness of the mounts and then bracing everything.
It was strong enough to not move when I hat a 6' roo at 100kph and I snapped the winch cable I had it under so much load but it didn't move.
Heavy though.
It's the bar on the brown 105 in my rig pic.

Hunt around on ebay and 4wd monthly classifieds there are usually heaps of steel winch bars for 75 series cruisers, alot easier than modding.

Thanks TB, Have been finding it hard to get a winch bar for a 75 probally just looking in the wrong places, also prices people are quoting 500-900 bucks just a bit steep.
Do you have any more pics of your bar.

Yeah but the discs are buried in boxes as we are moving in a fortnight. I'll try to find them for you when we unpack if you still need them.
You can also try wreckers, plenty of 75 wrecks around

Tried a few wreckers no luck and the prices i was quote where 500-900. Melbourne must be the rip off city because i know i can get one in Cairns for 250.
