I'm seriously looking at buying one of these vans and it will be my first van. I;ve seen some good and bad reviews on Coromal mainly on after sales these are more than a year or two old,

Has anyone any up to date advice or owners with their own feeling on this van, I would appreciate any advice
Thanks

We were camping at xmas time next to 2 coromals from w.a. Both of these vans were going around the block. As one person said if they make it. Both had lots of problems . Both said after sales service poor. I have a roadstar which has been very good. The few small problems were fixed straight away

I bought a new Coromal Excel 511 pop top just over a year ago and the workmanship is shocking. Mostly small problems but very annoying. Doors falling off, screws too small and over turned, seat end holding cushion falling off, screws not in correct place, cushion too large. Air conditioner leaking badly in very humid conditions. I had to replace sink tap, pump type. The mains tap leaking from bad connection to hose. My fridge has now stopped working on 240v, works ok on gas and dc while travelling.

Other than that everything so far is fine. I intend to travel around Oz come this autumn so I just hope I tow the thing all the way.

The Queensland agent for Roadstars is now Lifestyle RV's down at Morooka I think.

The one on the Nambour connection road now sell Lotus ?????????

Roadstars are good solid vans (I have one) but they are noted for being heavy. 21ft 6 = 2.564tonne.

There are a few 2nd hand ones in the Caravan Trader at the moment.

Good luck
