Hi Ron
It largely depends on how the catchment was affected by the fires and suibsequent and on-going works.
On our long weekend travels we found the Maclaister muddy but the Avon crystal clear.

Hiya Ron
The reason why the Upper
Goulburn is dirty @ Knockwood and all the way to the Jamieson (Quite Clean) is that when the bushfires come through about 6-8 months later we had a lot of rain...Therefore there was no undergrowth to stop a big
cave in @
the junction of the
Goulburn and the Black River near Webber Spur...
That is why Raspberry creek is so clear all the way to
Woods Point.
They were going to clean it up but the excavator bloke said he wasnt going in (to dangerous)....I would hav thought it would hav started cleaning up by now...
Cheers
