I've noticed some posts about Kia Sportage fuel tank guards and underbody bash plates.
Forget about a fuel tank guard; I've had a number of 4WD fabrication shops look at this and is 'too hard' simply because the guard would hang too low; the tank itself sits slightly below the chassis rails and there isn't enough points to secure a guard to.

I had a 2-piece plate made that protects from the radiator to the rear of the transfer case with all the access holes cut. See EDS at Brendale here in
Brisbane and expect to pay about $400. Excellent workmanship and a great fit.
