Slow loading solutions?

Evening all,

it has been raised previously people are finding it extremely slow to load EO up and open theads, i for one have this problem and it is agonising at times, does anyone have a solution to it but i dont want to run firefox or any other system as it was OK before.i have XP home,IE6, have tried 7 but went back to 6 as i found it better,any easy solutions greatly appreciated. Paul

Yep occasionally i get the go slow...Just wait till its on the go again..There is nothing wrong with Firefox..I'd be questioning whats right with IE7..

Download and install Spybot search and destroy,Its free and gets rid of cookies,slugware etc etc..

Maybe a bandaid solution but when I have the problem I go in and delete the cookies, all is OK then.

Yep, I find it's slow.

It's not my system because LCOOL, Caravanersforum, Bushtracker, Trakmaster, BOG Forum, and several others load very quickly.

Is it actually slow loading or is it that you're having to wait for the connection?

Mine is the same,
EO is ssssllllloooooowwwwwwwwwww.
Everything else works at normal speed as well.

very frustrating being so slow to load pages

I use a wireless conection of BigPond, which on it's own is very slow.
After I installed Google Chrome, allot of sites including EO opens allot quicker.
Try it, you can download it for free, just search Google.
It looks and works almost the same as windows Explorer.
I can open every website with it, except Hotmail. (They didn't pay Bill Gates enough, I guess ;-))
