Does anyone know of any online maps showing tv transmitter locations. I have a spreadsheet that I got online but can't find any maps.
Don't want to set up
camp and find the tranmsitter is directly behind the tree that I've camped under!
Not TV addicted but like to catch the news.

Hello
There is a breif discussion here including oziExplorer waypoint file of tower locations...so if you have oziExplorer you can plot them on a suitabel map..or even export to google earth etc.
TV Transmission Tower thread on gpsaustralia forum

Hi - bugger - works for me - maybe you have to be a member or something. Next option is to go to gpsasutralia website and look in forums under
maps - australia wide - free pois - TV Transmission Tower Sites 2008 - Waypoints
or do search for TV transmission Tower sites
Cheers
