Hi all,
I have a question regarding the Nuvi 760 GPS.
Am I right in assuming that you cant change the co ordinates from Long/Lat to UTM readings. I have read the book from cover to cover and can only find reference to Long/Lat not UTM.
Maybe I am not reading the right section.

G'day Barry
I understand that the nuvi 760 is not able to display UTM UPS
grid reference system. Pity, if it did I'd probably buy one.
Regards
Jeff

Hi Barry
When I purchased my Nuvi 760 I was most disappointed to find it would not show UTM.
Western 4Wdriver shows the coordinates in UTM along with most DEC maps.
I did a bit of
home work on the Nuvi before I purchased it but did not think for a moment it would not have UTM, having previoiusly had an Etrex.
I approached Garmin and asked for an explanation as I was not to happy. The answer was bad luck, horses for courses, if I wanted a Garmin to show UTM I had to purchase another model Garmin.
So there you have it, traps for new players.
There are programs that can swap UTM to Lat/lon but it is a bit of mucking about.
