Hi, I have a trailer that currently has an ATM of 750kg, the rego is upto an ATM of 1020kg, I have mechanical brakes fitted.
What I want to know is if anybody knows what I need to do to change the ATM from 750kg to 1000kg on my Qld rego?
Many thanks in advance....

Get a new road worthy and the trailer re-complianced to the new ATM.

Cheers Kev

Hi Kev, Yeah I just rang Qld Transport and they said the same thing even though the rego says upto 1020kg it isn't really upto 1020kg, a bit stupid....
I might put it over a set of scales and see where it is weight wise before I decide to do anything more on this.
Cheers....
