Does anyone know where I might be able to get a seal for an Electrolux Model RM4401 Frig. Size 725mm high & 505mm wide. All I can find out is that I have to buy the whole door. Seems a bit excessive!!!!!!!!!

G'day Cookie & Di, we can get spare parts for most Electrolux / Dometic fridges, i'll check with the supplier tomorrow on availability and price.
Cheers, David.

Gooday,
have a look in the phone book for your local SEAL-A-FRIDGE agent; they are a mobile service, come to you, cheap as chips, with warranty.

A fridge repairer told me once that, provided the seal is not totally destroyed, you can often achieve a very good repair by injecting silicon into the seal.

Haven't tried it but sounds feasible, and cheap.

I'm glad I ain't too scared to be lazy

G'day Cookie & Di, i checked with the supplier today and your right, they say you can't replace the seal, only the whole door, as the seal is an integral part of the door, and your looking about $330.00 for the door, if you can get the seal off you maybe able to get a seal made as mentioned in a couple of the other threads, sorry i couldn't do any more.
Cheers,
Dave.

If you've got one nearby, try a Clarke Rubber store. They have heaps of different sized and shaped extrusions. You could find something that'll work. Cheers.
