Well after reading the new member posts in recent days and having loitered around the site for some time and taken advantage of the numerous tips and recommendations of knowlegable members I have taken the plunge.
Blame the heat, blame the grog but hey this is a great place to be and has enhanced my families trips for the last couple of years so I thought I should become part of what I see as a great FAMILY.

I am fairly new to the camper and 4wd scene. In the coming weeks I will create my profile with some detail.
Basically we are tourers who like the ability to go
places that a convential vehicle and camper can't take you.
So what am I...
well that's a good question...but for me bliss is sitting by a river with the fire going enjoying a beer and yarn....

No Willy Willy, but I have the yips, as I haven't had a smoke for two days.
We really have not been hit like Victoria was - yet !

Keeping cool by coming indoors before 9am and not going outside till after 8pm
Spend most of the day in the airconditioned lounge :-)
