Same on the Central Coast NSW. The difference is just a few cents instead of the usual 35c. Whats happened? Kev 09 been giving us a helping hand again?

I fear they may be sucking us into a false sense of security.

The reason being that with the big down turn they(the Oil Company's) are not selling enough diesel so they have put ULP up to make up for the lose. That's what I heard, diesel may be cheaper than a few months ago but should really be a bit lower now.

Ian,
I was up at Maryborough Victoria for work yesterday and ULP was $1.09 per litre? $1.05 with a docket. I thought it would be the same as melbourne or a little more due to the so called transport costs? Just proves that there is a rip off happening.

We can jump up and down till the cows come home but as long as the snouts are in the trough in canberra there's not muvh we can do.

Rob

Here in Gove, NT we are still being ripped off severely for all our fuel, especially diesel but there is only one servo in town.
Diesel is still $1.69, ULP $1.39 where as in Darwin diesel is $1.35, ULP $1.25, so you guys down south are doing well.
