Having recently moved to
Canberra I'm still finding my way around. Can anyone suggest a reputable service centre in that region. I'm looking at 70 thousand k service on a diesel 100 series cruiser, as
well as dropping all oils (if its not part of the service).
I am also looking at fitting a
snorkel and putting new rims & tyres on, any suggestions on which tyre mob are ok to deal with before I start the ring aournd? (or any to avoid)
Cheers in advance

G'Day,
I use, and have had good experiences with the following:
Queanbeyan Diesel: For mechanical and injection/diesel servicing.
Monaro Off Road Centre (also in Queanbeyan): For general servicing and accessories.
No affiliation with either, just a happyy customer.

I have received excellent service over four years from ACT Automotive & Offroad Centre, 5 Huddart Court,
Mitchell, phone 6241 2282. They set up all the gear on my Prado, and did a great job. They also service the vehicle regularly. They have supplied most of my gear, and fitted the bits I acquired elsewhere.
Michael Catanzariti really knows 4WDs.

I second that Bruce. Excellent service, and always good advice.
Judging from other responses we are
well served in the region.
Cheers

Another vote for Hume Off Road.
Dynamic Tuning and Service in Fyshwick also very thorough, they have done a fair bit of my work and communication and work is excellent.
Cooma Diesel as
well.
Just stay away from the 'mass production' mobs. One in particular that I have had a very bad experience with (made the mistake of assuming that an oil change included putting new oil in the car, silly me).
Cheers,
Matt.
