Didn't see any Crocs, the rivers running strong, Steve said they probably gone down river toward the Mouth, at the same time, i wouldn't trust them and go for a swim . although they're not very big....TIC.

Hi Doug,

Did you take the incredible lizard photo ?

I have fished both up and downstream from the crossing. Upstream is usually smaller fish, downstream is great.

A local policeman once showed me photos of the headless torso of the fisherman who got swept off the crossing after leaving it to late to get back across.

Last time I was there ( years back now ), the Shimano boys had their boat on the ramp and were inspecting a hole in their tinnie where a croc had bitten it.

Cheers,

Willie.

Doug, mate could you do me a favour while you're there? Go fishing for the couple of nice lures that I left dangling from trees and river snags. Didn't fancy going wading for them at the time and as sure as eggs are eggs the wife would of let me anyway. LOL
