Hi, just wondered if anyone has had Turbo Engineering in Thomastown fit their so called Engine & Turbo saver kit to their 3 L Patrol. Ours is a 2006 with 100,000k - reduced power, especially under load, increased fuel, increased motor noise and Nissan dealers x 2 say its perfect and nothing wrong. Had it Dyno'd by above who advised injectors partially blocked, boost control faulty and EGR flow rate is high in to intake. They fit a manual boost control rather than the electronic version and intercooler fan kit and EGR control? which they call their engine/turbo saver kit. Would like to hear from anyone who has this fitted or had work done by Ray at Turbo Eng. Quoted $1250 for kit plus needs injectors flushed at least.

Have you replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor? I had a similar symptoms a few months ago that turned out to be faulty injectors. It is usually the last thing they want to look at because it can be costly to pay someone to do it.Mine is 2004 with just under 100,00k

Did you get injectors replaced or cleaned and if so at what cost? Vehicle fine on open road and at speed but when going up hill lacks power - like turbo not doing its job? Both Nissan dealers say they have checked it on their diagnostic machine and its not the MAF, nor the EGR and nothing showing up as fault. Second dealer thought it would be the MAF but not so. Trying Ferntree Gully Nissan Monday as at least they have some hills to try it out on.
