You beauty, Speedweek 2009 is on subject to a track inspection. After the last 2 years were washed out due to rain at
Lake Gairdner this year looks like all systems go. A temporary Indigineous Land Use Agreement was granted on Friday. We may finally find out how fast the Monaro goes. I'm excited!

Nice! Makes my old Dodge look like the slug it is. What do you expect it to run?
I have been meaning to get up to the
lake with some mates but every year something comes up. What a contrast - one of the most remote
places coming alive with the sound of tens of 1000's of horsepower. Let us know how it all goes.

Louie,
We are expecting 170 mph and hoping for 180. Have around 550 hp at the wheels, the photo is an early one, it looks a bit different now with a rear wing and front splitter. They are expecting the biggest entry list ever due to adverse weather in the last 2 years.
Rumour has it there maybe at least one 300 mph car there this year, I hope so.
