In mid year we are doing a west-east crossing of Aus and are looking for a place near Burns Beach north of
Perth for the group to meet up. Have not been able to find anything close to Burns Beach and hoping that some of the WA members/visitors to this site might be able to give us some suggestions. A few of us will be driving to
Perth from
Canberra and
Newcastle and some are flying to join the group. Just looking for a spot to rest up for a day or two before heading further north.

Try Burns beach sunset village Tele: 08 9305 5000, also nearby is Kingsway CP Tele: 1800119988, Ocean Reef CP tele: 08 93092138, Karrinup waters resort tele: 08 94476665.
Got them from yellow pages, not sure if they are suitable or available.

I've had family stay at Karrinyup Waters.
Recommended.
I think that Burns beach still has a caravan park almost right on the beach.
I haven't been there in years so I really can't comment.

Can recommend Karinyup Waters. Have stayed there a couple of times. Some of the sites are a bit tight for a big van, although they do have bigger sites down the bottom end ! Good clean facilities and reasonably close to the freeway into the city. Can be a "pita" during peak traffic. Not too far from the northern beaches.

I can also endorse Karrinyup Waters Resort at Gwelup.
Stayed there mid 2008 and a
well appointed CP with ample room for bigger rigs at the rear.
