W.A. Suspensions just replaced coils on Mav with Lovells heavy duty which increase height over standard by about 30mm. at rear. The ride with my Koni gas/hyd is much better than with orig. springs which took us to many rugged places over the past 10yrs towing jayco offroad trailer without any problems.
Before deciding on Lovells I looked into' THE LIFT' and couldn't see a reason for doing it especially the extra cost involved in longer travel shocks. My tyres are LT235/85/R16's and considering one's diffs are the main clearance consideration I don't see the need for 'THE LIFT'.
Am I missing something important?

Good luck, DRC.

Coz it looks cool .............. isn't that enough? lol

Seriously though, you get better approach and departure angles, and usually more articulation.

Spose it depends how often you challenge the ability of the vehicle off-road as to whether it is worth the cost.
