I bought a new Keyless entry remote for my 04 HDJ79RV Landcruiser and want to program it for my car. I don't really want to go to a dealer to do it. Have hunted around the net and there seem to be many different types of programming methods. Have tried a few but they dont seem to work.
Does anyone know how to do it?

Hiya Pelks
What brand is it ???? Look on the net in your area for Car Alarm Installers,You can find ones that will come to you..
Once installed (not sure if its diesel) and you want to put Turbo Timer you need it wired properly..
Cheers

You should hav got some instructions,I know the main unit plugs in under the dash where your right leg is somewhere...Did you get instructions at all ??? As i said a Car Alarm installer should be able to do it...You could always ring Toyota for a quote first...

1. Obtain all remotes for the car.
2. Drivers door open, and key removed from the ignition switch.
3. Lock the vehicle using a programmed remote
4. Within 20 seconds.
- Unlock the door uning the programmed remote
- Insert key into the ignition
- Switch the ignition from off to on making sure it is in the off position on the 20th turn.
5. The indicators will now flash 20 times and you are in the programming mode.
6. On the 20th flask push the button of each remote you want to programme.
7. Switch ignition on to exit programming mode.
