I've had the camper up in the back yard airing out this past week and jeez each time i've gone in to the camper,oh that smell of camping has just got me, you know it just a smell that you can recall of going camping and being with a great bunch of friends in that top spot.cheer's GREENDOG

Your right GREENDOG. I am fairly new to camping, have only been full on for the past two and a bit years and the fact is I am hooked.

Having been raised in the surf I am amazed that I now crave the bush, even in summer and love the smell of the fire and sound of the creek running in the background.

The coolness of the night and the heat of the day. It's just great!

Yeah, just retrieved ours from the in-laws after leaving it out of range of any potential disasters for the last few weeks and opened it up today, gives you itchy feet again doesn't it?

Hahahaha...Too true.
My solution is, I leave the camper trailer in the shed....back open.
That way, when ever you get a bit toey...you go out in the shed, and get the enthusiasm to head out on the next weekend!

Cheers

This is a great thread...................
To day I needed a camping fix, had a piece of pork that I wanted to roast, so I went and got the OzPig out cut some timber and light it up. Went to the van and got the camp oven out and proceeded to cook this piece of pork gees it was great.
Seating there looking after the fire made for a good Sunday arvo, and a couple of beers was nice to.

Cheers Bruce
