Shower unit into 4.2 patrol

Gentleman

Anyone out there fitted a shower unit into a 2001 GU 4.2 Patrol
fitting one up to my mates on the weekend i have a few ideas just wondering where to put the heat exchanger
anyone with some pics please email me redfive@bigpond.net.au

I bought mine with a glind already fitted and my exchange unit it right at the back of the firewall

Glenn,

Across the back of the firewall is where mine is mounted. A length of right angle has been attached to the firewall and the heat exchanger then attaches to this. You can get a bit of an idea from this photo http://www.flickr.com/photos/aus4wd/2055773255/in/set-72157603271773121/

Its a Twine unit i have a Glind on my Troopy they are almost the same his Heat Exchanger is Copper mine is Plastic/Fibre stuff

I have the twine heat exchanger unit mounted on the rear firewall, passengers side and the pump on an existing Nissan upright mounting frame just in front of it..
