Hi all,
there has been notice of a meeting being held this sunday (1st March) at Richards
Camp Ground on Mt Cole near Beaufort/Raglan in victoria. The meeting has been organised on the quiet to try and push through a motion to close the park to 4wd's and motorbikes by changing it to a national park. I am waiting for further information to come through but if you are a member of any 4wd clubs please forward the information on. Your attendance would be greatly appreciated to try and stop this.
The rumor is that this is the same group that tried to shut down Wombat
state forest a few years back.
Thanks,
Shaun

You mean they only want to close the tracks off that 4wd's and motorbikes can access, which is the majority in the area. Bast***s!!! Unregistered trail bikes I can understand but to deny legitimate access is reprehensible.
What is the reason given for this?

Shaun,
Another fire catastrophe in the making if this happens.
Hopefully common sense will prevail
