Hi. I am a 10 year old pooch who travels Australia with my family each year. I am going to
Cooktown this year and would like to know if any other canines out there have a preference for accommodation in
Cooktown. Woof.

Hi Woof
You must be a clever Doggy, seeing you can type, just wondering
if you also take a Plastic Bag when you do your Doggy Do Do's, lol,
there are a couple of Camping Books around with that type of
information you require, ExplorOz sells them, get your owner to
phone them, because dogs can't talk, or can they?.
Cheers
Daza

We stayed at the
Cooktown caravan park last year for a week.
Some people went away for the day and left the pooch tied up outside their van and it barked all day. The park owners were not to happy with them. And I don`t blame them.

We are full time nomads who spend a lot of time bush in WA - very hard to travel with dogs because of the 1080 baits........ However when we do stay in a park (not often) always try for dog friendly parks - just so I can get my fix of 'dog time'

Ttama - What?!
Never mind, l'il mate, I won't tell if you don't tell.
My Humans took me to a park a click or two out of town. Huge old paperbarks shaded the place, and bird's eye chili bushes were weeds in the scrub. Sorry, I can't recall the name, and as I can only write but not wread, I'll have to wait until Madam Servant arises.
But I reckon you'll sniff it out Ttamia - just get your Human to do a tour.
Ruff ruff Jeff.

Thanks everyone for helping. Mmmmm, a place with large paperbark trees sounds like my style. This is the kind of insider information I need! Mum has found the Endeavour River Escape Park, which seems to fit the bill. licks to you all...Ttama
