When i go away and fill up a hip flask (hope still on topic lol) i fill it up with either Johnny Walker Red or Black...I have Two Johnny Blues that ive been keeping for that special occasion that never seems to come around..And one is about 12 years older already..

Anyway the green is a very nice smooth drop,After drinking half the bottle last night (and i don't drink that often, but if i do its whiskey) i woke up a bit slow but NO Hangover...

Fully recommend it but its about $100 roughly...

Oh Disclaimer: Do not drink and drive

Cheers

I have a collection of Johnny Walker, a bottle each of Red, Black, Gold, Green and Blue, had them over 10 years and haven't touched any of them. Prefer Bundy.......have quite a few hip flasks of that stashed away as well LOL

Your collection won't be complete until you get yourself a bottle each of Johnnie Walker Swing and Johnnie Walker White Label.

The white label is discontinued, but you might some somewhere if you do a bit of searching.

Warfer,
You poor, sad Boy.I am overcome with sadness at your dilemma: fine whisky - but - what to do? No friends??

Despite the Mexican address, I'll deign to offer a twinge of sympathy: and a tad of advice.
1. Too late for you, p'raps. But when next your offspring offer you a bottlle of Jonny Blu, crack open your frozen rain-ice, break open the Johnny Blue, and savour the moment: 'for we may not pass this way again'. Tru?
2.My friend, you obviously aspire to greater things, whilst I aspire to a softish landing. Standard Bundy Rum is just that. But the factory also produces some very acceptable swill, or so I'm told. Try a wee dram in your hip flask.

No hard feelings Warfer - apparently we share an appreciation of distilled ethanol.
Shall raise a glass to your health.
Jeff.

Anyone else noticed the difference in Johnny Red ,used to be a "middle" shelf job but over the last few years ever since "prefered pour" became apart of the system in hotels it is not the same ..... best of the Johnnys IMHO is the Gold , smooooth as for sipping a dram or 3 round the fire at night.

Yes, any of the single malts will do. A real whiskey drinker only uses JW blue label bottles to bleep in. (lol)

You lot mustn't be pensioners.

What's wrong with essence of lemon. One million cooks can't be wrong, and on pay day, green ginger wine or Dr. Jurd's Jungle Juice.

Has the same effect.

Essence of lemon has other uses too.

It is handy to start the fire with when the wood is damp, and it's OK to kick start a primus stove.

A guaranteed remedy to stop the "ta tas" when you get up.

Do that with Blue or Green Label J.W. Whiskey.
