Is it fairly flat around the caravan park and the surrounding streets as I am thinking of taking the bike and an not too fit so must be flat area

Also any fishing tips appreciated- we will have a tinnie and son bringing outside boat.

How far up the river can you travel ?

Do prawns run?

Are there mud crabs?

Not that long a river, would be best to put a post up on a site like Ausfish in the saltwater section.

Just a bit north of my area, we have lots of river, some mud crabs, but things a bit slow with recent rain. The fish are a bit well feed at the moment with all the bait fish flushed down the system. The prawn boats have been outside the mouths with all the rain and catching a few.

The fish in the local systems this week, lots of small bream with the flathead only half interested in striking.

Contact the caravan park and ask them the questions re streets and taking bike. Sure they will be only to glad to help.

Each park has its local fisherman, find out who they are and maybe enjoy a tube or two with them. Marvellous what a wet tongue will do.

We stayed in the caravan park a couple of years ago and fishing from boat was the go.
Very flat around the town and a few minor hills on way out.

Excellent chinese at the bowls club.
