G'day Warren,
My only thought would be deep water crossings and items like compressors and UHF radios that are often placed low on the floor. Of course a lot depends on your vehicle usage and set-up including door seals, floor integrity etc.
Cheers,
Paul

Ive seen quite a few under the
seat. They do get hot ,but as long as they are not touching anything, they should be ok

ARB fitted our compressor under rear passenger
seat in Defender. Been there fir years with no problems, but there is reasonable air ciculation in that area.

ARB fitted my compressor under bonnet just behind passenger headlight with an air outlet directly on top. I subsequently fitted a 3 gal air tank under tray and fitted an additional outlet (purchased from ARB) just behind cab on drivers side. I also fitted a tee in line and brought an extra line in to the cab and fitted a "curly" air hose and trigger outlet to blow out the cabin or inflate airbeds etc.
This is a fantastic compressor and with what I have fitted extra meets all my needs very conveniently.
Cheers
