We just came round the Strzelecki at the end of Feb,09 (with a 20ft BT van) from
Thargomindah.
There was a bit a bit of sandy stuff and bony in
places beteween Coopers Crk and Innaminka .
The camping at the Town Common on Coopers Crk is $5 donation in the red box at the turn off 2 klm west of Innaminka.
We went down the old S. track and it was smooth graded hard clay(great dry but in noway when wet) to near the bottom end at Merty merty where it became an oil road freeway.
The new road is a oil road highway,
well maintained for the big trucks but can be corrugated and get bony between grades.
This is the general condition right thru to Lynhurst.
No longer a "track" but a fairly good gravel road.
