Trying to source a towbar for our vehicle.
The H/Reece option is about $1100 !!! Rated at 3000kg with a ball weight of 120kg...
Geez- I only want to taken the garden box trailer to
the tip !!!
Any fabricators around the Macarthur/ Penrith areas ??

3000kg !!!! Stop overloading your garden box trailer or stop accumulating rubbish LOL
If you need a 3 tonne rated towbar then you have to pay. If you don't, ask for a lighter version e.g. 1800kg

That's just it- I don't need a 3 tonne capacity thing...but that seems to be the only option..

Just spoke to Mark at Macquarie 4WD (4587 7114). He quoted a lot less for a similar/heavier unit. I don't have all your requirements but give him a call.

What sort of vehicle. Spoke to guys at Central Coast 4x4 wreckers just recently about a H/R towbar for a number of various vehicles. $150 on average.

Any reputable tow bar manufacturer/supplier should be able to provide something to suit your requirements at an acceptable price. Remember - you generally only get what you pay for.
