Have our van parked on our front lawn - all cut out and levelled nicely - right outside our bedroom window - last Saturday night - some mongrel cut the trailer connection plug right off!! Our old trailer, which has the same plug, has been on the other side of the driveway in front yard for about 10 years - they have never touched that one - no had to take the one that is more complicated to wire up - reported it to police, just to have it recorded really. The thing is only worth $14 or so - but the inconvenicnce is what makes you so angry.
We now have the whole van wrapped up in the cover, with a bag over the connections as well - looks like a zeppelin on the front lawn - but they won't get at it easily now.
We hope!

Replace this plug with a socket mounted on the inside of the draw bar. Then make up a jumper cable with 2 plugs on it to connect to the tug. Remove this when the van is parked anywhere, that will stop any future vandalism.

They will probably pinch the cover next time. Get a BIG dog.

YEs I agree, the Hungry AK47 is a favourite dog brand of mine. I am also partial to the Austeyr dog, over the old but reliable M16 dog.

Julie hi there with the cover, be careful if you have Perspex windows and not glass, as the rubbing of the cover will scratch your van and windows
