Evening all, Just looking at the "
Perth Now" site after hearing on the radio that a couple were missing after not returning from a weekend trip. The name sounded familiar and it is Lionel A from
Toodyay way. He has a MQ Patrol. I would post the link but don't know how to sorry. From Lionel's profile he has done a heap of trips and seems experienced (they let people know where they were going and anticipated ETA.) Hope they find them soon safe and
well.
Mark

I've sent details to vks737 and asked them to
check with members in the area (
Dunns Track).
Gee, it seems to me that the EO community has a bit of capacity to assist as
well. We're 'out there', got communications and recovery equipment. Be great if we could help.

Hi Mark
Lets us all hope that it is something very simple and the couple are both found safe and
well.
Like all members and viewers here on EO we will all be waiting for the good news on their safe homecoming.
Cheers
Stephen

I believe he is a member of
Toodyay 4WD club, but I have not been able to come up with a phone number. All the imfo that I can find on the net just gives a PO box for contact purposes.
Hopefully we can manange to dig the number up from somewhere or someone.

Just having another thought that the number could possibly be sourced from the WA 4WD association. They have an office number listed of 0405 207 844

Richard are the cops actually out looking for them??
A plane or chopper would be the most obvious starting point??

Hi Matt
Thanks for the link and Thank God they were sound safe and
well.
Just goes to show that you can never be over prepared when heading out solo. I wonder if they had MaxTrax on board, the situation me be completely different.
The most important thing is they are alive and found by the SES.
Cheers
Stephen
