Hi, would anyone know the gps coordinates for wattle point wind farm information centre in the yorke peninsula......Thanks

Below is the coordinates for the viewing station for the Wattle Point Wind Farm.

S35 06 42.69
E137 43 16.82

You will not need the coordinates, as you can see the wind farm for miles, well and truly before you arrive at Edithburgh. Just Follow the dirt road out of town and one of the roads is very clearly signposted 'Wattle Point Wind Farm" Below are a few more facts on the site, which is now outdated, as there as some really big wind farm now across Australia.

When commissioned on the 16th June 2005, this was the then largest Wind Farm in Australia, with 55 Wind Turbines, covering 17.5 square kilometres. The then cost was $180 Million Dollars to construct.

If you are down that way, the coast scenic drive to Marion Bay is well worth the detour. Here are a few photos that will give you some indication of the size of the farm.
