Morning all
Just a quick one, heading out to Charleville in a couple of weeks time, can anyone recommend which of the caravan parks is best for a three night stay with a camper trailer and two kids.
Many thanks
Jon

The Evening Star , just a little way out , all new ammenities , kid friendly [ owners have a fair sized brood ] large grassed sites perfect for c/t , free fire pits - bbq and timber.

Agree with Axel, great park and great people.
It is a working cattle station and they do tours.

We stayed at Bailey Bar caravan park last year.

Friendly people, good facilities, reasonable price. Would stay there again.

Hi We stayed at Baily Bar 12 months ago and found it excellent.
Wendy and Julian put on yabby races camp dinners with stew and sometimes buckets of yabbies, BYO drink.

Will definitely stay there again

Hi Hts.

We stayed at Cob & Co park a couple of years ago, a bit old & run down, but close to town.

Same here, close to town, argee with the above comments, but was no issue for me was just staying the night, had fire pits free wood, and as luck would have it great company as neighbours and we fired up the pit, dinned and down a few ales.

I will say the amenities where at least clean.

Thanks
Brian

I stopped at the one behind the Convention Centre/ Town Hall a month ago.

It was fine and took dogs. The kids played footy around the c.park, without being brats, mind. They also had fun in the sprinklers. No real playground as such but there's others close by.

While in Charley make sure you have a swim in the public pool, v.v. nice. Kids'l luvit.
