Am looking for a good overnight camping spot for 8 vehicles near
Morgan is SA, preferably not in caravan parks. Would appreciate any suggestions you can provide. The group will be traveling through from Murray-Sunset heading for the Flinders in late July or earlyAugust this year.

Cordola
campground might be an idea - about 15 minutes out of
Morgan downstream toward
Blanchetown (road west side of river) - riverfront camping - private property - a few $ per vehicle per night (honesty box) - if you search the
forum here you will get some good oil from previous posts.

Heron Bend at Overland Corner has free, no facilities camping on
the River. With added advantage of the historical
Overland Corner Hotel directly accessible from the
campground. Stayed overnight in 07, very enjoyable too......oldbaz.

Hi Time,
If you do not want to stay in the Caravan Park, cross over the river on the ferry and then when over the other side, take a hard left and follow this dirt track around. There are some good site, some with sandy areas and right on the river. This is Part of the
Morgan Conservation Park.
Cheers
Stephen

Agree, was there last weekend, plenty of space and right on the river, no facilities though, nice spot.
