Reckon I'll be due for a major service when I arrive in the Alice later this year and just looking to who I should get to do it. Does anyone have any experience with Kittles Nissan in
Alice Springs? My vehicle is a MY08 D40 2.5 diesel Navara and will have travelled from Queanbeyan NSW to
Steep Point WA via the Nullarbor and thence east on the GCR with a deviation into the
Pilbara before getting to Alice.
Any recommendations are most welcome.
Thanks
Pete

After dealing with Kittles for several years I would suggest you get the service done elsewhere

I spent 6 months of 2008 working in the auto repair industry at
Alice Springs. Most of the smaller workshops were fine but up to their eyes in work.
I often dealt with customers who had not only vehicles that we sold and serviced but also vehicles that the big dealer on the highway sold. I cannot recall one who felt that the service was satisfactory at the big dealer down the road.
I have no vested interest in this. The workshop I was at serviced only on the brands of vehicle that they sold....and I am no longer at the Alice. It's just that you do hear things that make your skin crawl.
Of course much of it is hearsay but I also heard first-hand from a customer who took his shiny new, very expensive 4WD for a simple oil change service and the oil wasn't changed, nor was the filter. He actually showed me the filter with a mark he had put on it to see whether it was changed. He was furious and was offered the service to be re-done and for free but he told them to belt it where it fits.
Their prices were pretty much the same as everyone elses though.
Cheers

Like I said the other day. Dont go to the N......... Dealer in Alice. There service is crap and at$110.00 an hour, you wolud expect better. Have been in Alice along time and had a lot of Toyos, Nissans, holdens, Mitsubishis, and ther all sold by the same mob. Dont do it
Regards.
