Has anyone used the Hema Navigator for city or bush driving, or both? Interested in buying one, a member of my club thinks it's terrific. One comment i've seen says the colour is not so good, but does not really describe in what way.
A question I haven't found an answer to is whether the rechargeable battery is replaceable.
Cheers, Ros.

Also note there are a number of cheaper units with identical specs to the HN that can be "unlocked" to run oziExplorerCE with ease e.g. Mio Moov.
Unlock your Mio
though accept game isnt for everyone.

Thanks Greg.
I had a look at the product info on this site and the brief comments there didn't tell me much. I'm looking at your leads.
Best regards,
Ros

Hi Ros,
We have a HEMA at first we didn't like it, however it was because we didn't know how to use it properly. The only thing we find odd is that the battery does not stay charged even when not being used. As for replacement one would think so however not 100% sure.
We don't have a problem with the colour.
Cheers

Hello Caroline,
Glad to have your comments, thank you. It's really helpful to have opinions from users, and I know myself that there's no substitute for becoming really familiar with a piece of equipment.
Best regards, Ros.

Hi Ros,
Have a look on the Maptrax web site, they are offering an unlocked Navway unit for half the price if the Hema unit. It's a pretty good unit.
Keep the shiny side
Cheers
