Hi 2G's
We have a V8 100 series landcruiser fitted with red (Pedders) air bags, have been fitted now for seven years , have had no trouble with them and they do the job extremely
well when we have the van fully loaded. Keep the LC nice and level and as far as we are concerned they haven't hardened the ride all that much, but for sure it is firmer.
Cheers
Baz

A set of progressive springs is also something to consider and are cheaper and easier to fit.
I put Polyairs in and now that I am towing a van fulltime I have put a set of EFS progressive springs in it.
If you are trying to level up when towing you are best to consider a WDH as Airbags only assist in holding up the load above them and do not level the vehicle when towing
