In November 2010 my wife and I will be celebrating 20 years of marriage. My first thought was to throw her on a plane and take her overseas but there is so much to see and do in this great land that I thought we should have a two week holiday, without kids in OZ.

I am happy to travel a reasonable distance so was hoping that the good folk of EO could offer some ideas. I know its a while off but I like to plan...lol

A great place for couples to relax and enjoy a break is Cuddlepot Cottage at Maleny (self contained with spa, great views etc). Using this as a base explore the pristine forests, 4WD tracks, lakes, galleries, beaches etc of the Sunshine Coast and hinterland. Plenty of restaurants etc in region as well. Can do as much or as little as you want. So much to see and do in the great South East.

Just a happy customer of CPC in the past - no relation to business.

Cheers,
GPM

We're up for 20 in March next year and are intending to do something 'special' too, but it will only be a one night thing unfortunately. Does your wife like to do things on holidays, or is she happy lying around. We're 'do things' types, lying on a "Bali" beach just doesn't excite.

Cheers, Nige
