Landcruisers have gearboxes not transaxles ...

R151F is the gearbox model. Others found on 'cruisers are H151 and H150, the difference being the ratios

Cheers

I think A02B *might* be the transfercase model

They dont have a transaxle, but they do have a trans/axle code on the firewall

The AO2B is the t/case/diff I think,my brothers Prado had A02A.
The difference is whether it has a centre diff lock or whatever it is called

Is this vehicle a Prado or full size landcruiser?

You have a HZJ79 ute and they run a 4.3 diff ratio.

Hi qubert,

this site will usually answer all of your questions.

Axle Codes

Based on the code you have provided something isn't working. Are you sure there is not another axle code somewhere on the plate.

I have used this site several times on landcruisers of all ages and the tables have worked every time.
