My who-is-never-wrong and I who-is-never-right are going to Alice Springs via Coober Pedy, the distance being 688 klms.
We have searched many-o-maps but cannot see any fuel stops, are there any?

My 5 year old HEMA SE Desert sheet has Cadney Pk approx 200km past CP, Marla 239 past CP and Kulgera 136km past Marla, probably more past Kulgera.

Like above also Erldunda, where you turn off to Ayers Rock. There is no need to worry, the largest stint in between fuel stops is Glendambo and Coober Pedy, just under 260 kilometres.

Cheers

BBA
In my experience the roadhouse at Marla is always the most expensive on that trip (to the point of possibly being described as a rip-off). If you can, try to organise it so you don't need fuel there.

Nah , Erldunda beats in hands down , on major h/way yet 8 cents per lt dearer than the pink R/house on the Oodnadatta track on the same day.

Yeah, well there has to be a delivery charge. 1080km from Adelaide or 1985 from Darwin. I seldom refuel there but do stop for conveniences and maybe something to munch. The good thing is that it's open 24 hours

Fill up to the top at Pt Augusta and it is just over 506ks to Coober Pedy You should make that, if you cannot fill up at Pimba.

Avoid places like Marla and Glendambo you will pay through the Nose.

Fill right up at Coober Pedy and fill up at Kulgera and you should make it through. If you are staying at a van park you cannot go past the Big 4.

Happy trails
