aussiems1,

Invest in Camps 5 available through the shop on this site.

Money well spent and it wont take long to recover the initial cost of the book by using some of the free sites mentioned in it.

Cheers,

Camps 5 is well worth the money, it will pay for itself in a couple of days. We have just completed 2years on the road and used it extensively. One trick we learned was to make sure you knew how to programme in the coordinates given in camps 4 into your GPS...as some campsites are a bit hard to find when you are in unfamiliar territory. With GPS and coordinates......no problem We generally tried to be at a free site by 3.30 ish each day..so we could assess it and if necessary move onto to our second choice. However in 2 years we never had a problem.

Click on "Places" then search by Place type - Camps Free. At present there are 677 free camp free places in the database.

It is a great resource isn't it.

Cheers.
