Seeing the high country

Hi Folks. Just got back from a weeks school camp that I organised with 23 students. We went to Mansfield to "Watson's Mountain Country Trail Rides".
Watson's
Went through the bush where the only other way to get there would be to walk.
Had a fantastic time. If you're in the high country, horse riding is a very different way to see it. This family company were wonderful, couldn't do enough for us. The kids really responded in many ways other than just the riding. It was great to see them enjoying themselves and relating so well.
Makes me want to take a horse with me when I go camping.
Next time I'm 4x4ing in that area I think I'll take a day out to do a short trip with them again. Ads a bit of variety to the holiday.

Sounds good.

I spent a month once riding through the Vic mountains, and going slow and getting into a rhythm, enjoying the quiet and the scenery, made a memorable experience.

The high country is one area I have wanted to horseride for ages. Pricey now tho

Totally agree - but I am still trying to figure out how to tow a horse float and a camper trailer!

Yeah. I'd like to get a slide on instead of towing. Like to get a 70 series and Trayon one day.
