Hi. has anybody thought about the above site? do you think that it a big con? or is it genuine

Seems that they are similar to the Rainbow Power Company? at Nimbin.
If you do produce more power by solar than you need it can be sold to the power grid and you receive credits for the surplus power, but to set up a solar home I think the price is about $30k.

earth4energy.com seems to be a bit sharper in its sales techniques compared to others, but is not offering a different solution to anyone else.
The cost-benefit of putting solar power on your roof varies state-by-state as the buy-back rates and the method of calculating the buy-back rates varies.
As always, there is plenty of homework to do if you want to go down this path. Make sure you talk to a few suppliers of systems.
